I love MediaMonkey (...and music) and have used it continuously ever since I substituted iTunes for it years ago.
For some time now I’ve had a simple media center with a less than optimal remote control solutions (outdated in every way).
The media setup is simply a desktop computer running Windows. The computer is connected to my TV and hi-fi receiver and takes care for entertaining me with music and movies whenever I have the time.
For some time - after I got my first smartphone (a HTC Desire S) - I tested different remote control solutions for the programs on the media center computer.
Some came close to doing what I want. Some did not.
I any case nothing was exactly spot on.
So, being a DIY-kinda guy and programmer by heart, I wrote this application to satisfy my MediaMonkey remote controlling needs.
And I liked it. I liked so much that I thought maybe others might like it too.
So here we are.
